Research objects were as follows: nephroprotective effect of placenta cryoextracts, as well as the effect of placental cryoextract administration and drug blockade of RAAS on morphofunctional state of kidneys, adrenal glands, and aortic endothelium in experimental renal failure in rats. Research methods: biochemical, histological, cytological, electron microscopic, morphometric ones. The anti-inflammatory and nephroprotective effects of allogeneic placental cryoextract (as opposed to xenogenic one), introduced prior to modelling an acute renal failure, have been established. Morphological examination has revealed the signs of chronic tubulo-interstitial nephritis and nephrosclerosis, chronic interstitial pneumonia and pneumosclerosis, activation of steroidogenesis in adrenal cortex, and development of endothelial dysfunction in untreated animals. The use of drug blockade of RAAS in combination with cryoextract at early stages of renal pathology development improved the renal excretory function, renewed blood circulation, decreased an interstitial inflammation of renal cortex, normalized the ultrastructure of adrenocorticocytes, that could stop the further progress of chronic renal failure. Two-course administration of cryoextract together with RAAS blockade led to a decrease in ischemia and inflammation of kidney cortex, normalized the renal circulation, aldosterone synthesis and secretion, blood count and RAAS activity, increased the regenerative potential of endothelium, thereby contributing to long-term (16 weeks) chronic renal failure remission. Novelty, efficiency of implementation: for the first time with the model of renal failure we have proved the administration of allogeneic placental cryoextract together with the RAAS blockade to restore the renal excretory fun Product Description popup.authors Brusentsov Oleksandr F.
