Immuno-cytogenetic analysis contributes to the deepening of genetic and mathematical analysis of herds, which helps to have a more detailed and objective idea of the genetic situation at different stages of the selection process. Analysis of polymorphic systems of blood groups, DNA markers, proteins and chromosomal apparatus is designed to create the preconditions for mass reproduction and preservation of genes and gene complexes. There is a need to develop effective methods for integrated assessment of the genotype of animals based on the integrated use of breeding records and genetic research. In programs for the preservation and improvement of pig breeds, along with zootechnical methods, it is advisable to take into account the specifics of their alleles databases. Currently, the most urgent task is to develop a strategy of marker-assisted selection in pig breeding, which would include theoretical and practical aspects of genetic monitoring. Genetic variability has always been the main criterion for assessing animal populations. Restriction of biodiversity within a species or breed has led to restrictions on its use, or to the emergence of new mutations, which has necessitated the further improvement of controlled populations. However, to preserve the disappearing genetic diversity, it is necessary to deeply study the specifics of the genetic material of breeds, including with the use of modern DNA technologies: identification, control of purity and compliance with international standards of different breeds. The use of DNA technology will assess the gene pool and predict the productive qualities of animals. In this regard, it is especially important to identify ways and methods of forming biodiversity of in the direction of increasing their productivity and improving their adaptability.
