Purpose: To obtain new, more detailed data on local magnetic fields in such processes of activity on the Sun as sunspots and flashes. Construction of realistic multilevel models of highly ionized iron and silicon atoms in order to diagnose physical conditions in the solar corona. Study of the role of torsional oscillations in the generation of an alternating radial magnetic field of the Sun. Study of the influence of aerosols on the climatic characteristics of the atmosphere and air quality over Kyiv. Research methods: spectral and spectropolarimetric, as well as methods of magnetohydrodynamics and mathematical statistics. The magnetic fields in sunspots and flashes were studied according to the observations of the ACU-5 telescopes of GAO NASU and GST AO KNU and evolutionary changes of strong (up to 3 kGs) magnetic fields in a powerful limbic flash were revealed on July 17, 1981. at heights of 10-18 mm according to measurements in the lines K Ca II 3933.7 Å, H δ 4101.7 Å, He I 4471.5 Å and H  4861.3 Å; new evidence of the existence of extremely strong magnetic fields in the range of 104 Gs in sunspots and flashes was revealed. Realistic multilevel models of highly ionized iron atoms FeX, FeXI, FeXIII, FeXIV and silicon SiIX, SiX on the basis of astrophysical base of spectroscopic data CHIANTI are created; the probabilities of photoexcitation, spontaneous and forced excitation removal, excitation rate by electrons and protons of the levels of these ions are calculated. As a result of numerical calculations within the MHD theory, the decisive role of torsional oscillations in the generation of an alternating radial magnetic field was demonstrated.  Product Description popup.authors Danylevsky Vassyl O.
