Breeders of the studied lines were characterized by large size and excellent fur performance, according to the evaluation data are classified as class I. The number of families was 82-91, the average duration of use of females in the population for reproduction - 1.2-1.5, According to the data of a comprehensive assessment of breeding value of males by the BLUP method, the maximum distribution of broodstock was observed in the population of STK minks - 139-145 points, the vast majority of males had a score of 142-143 points (41.8%). For STD minks, the predominance of animals with a score of 139 - 26.3% and 142-143 points (50%) was noted, in mink G - the maximum proportion of broodstock was estimated at 139 points - 81%. A high proportion of male influence on the manifestation of productive traits in daughters was found, which varied depending on the type of color in the range of 0.17-0.43 and had a different degree of probability. The rate of heredity of traits by "mother-daughter" also varied in the studied populations in the range of 0.13-0.64 points, which was reflected in the degree of manifestation of genetic potential in daughters 83-100% Analysis of the distribution of offspring by phenotypic manifestation of selection traits showed the effectiveness of homogeneous selection of pairs over heterogeneous. The use of BLUP-method of estimating the breeding value of male broodstock allows to rank the broodstock by selection and genetic traits, and to select animals to improve the created population. The index of breeding value allows to select for further reproduction of animals with the maximum estimation of value. This indicator for the studied populations was 139-149 points and had a distribution close to normal.
