Higher milk yields were obtained from local first-borns during the first 100-200 days of lactation (1 / 2UCHER1 / 2M on average in herds of 2815 ± 36.9 kg and 4914 ± 56.9 kg, respectively; 1 / 2UCHR1 / 2NCH - 2720 ± 62.5 and 5073 ± 56.5 kg) compared with the primates obtained by purebred breeding (UCHER - 2332 ± 48.6 and 4397 ± 52.2 kg; UCHR - 2382 ± 56.8 and 4190 ± 56.4 kg). The first-born Holstein breed in the first 100 days of lactation outperformed the other groups in terms of milk yield. The first-born cows of the Ukrainian black-spotted and red-spotted dairy breeds are characterized by high growth rates with well-developed breasts in depth, width and girth.
