The object of research - thermomechanical processes in thermosensitive structural elements capable to elastic-plastic deformation under intense complex load, taking into account their real spatial shape. The purpose of the work - creation and development of models and methods of thermomechanics and of corresponding software for exploration and optimization of stress-strain state of constructional elements of complex shape and structure under thermal and force loading taking into account a temperature dependence of material characteristics, of nonlinear deformation, of phase changes, of operational damage, of material degradation and repair interventions. Using the methods of nonlinear thermomechanics and the theory of optimal control, new models of mechanics, oriented on the use of modern numerical methods, in particular, the finite element method, and appropriate software for quantitative description of thermomechanical processes in elements of operating power equipment and of rocket and space technology etc. industries under thermal and force loading taking into account the nonlinear nature of deformation and the real geometric shape and structure. Theoretical bases of technology of repair and restoration of elements of boiler units with damages and of estimation of possibility of their further operation for accurately defined terms are developed. Software for computer modeling of deformation processes in constructions of complex shape and structure under thermal and force loading is used in the design of nozzle units of rocket engines operating at extremely high temperatures, and at the development of a set of systems for technical diagnosis and restoration of weapons and military equipment . The thermomechanical behavior of typical building structures under fire conditions has been studied and their fire resistance has been determined.
