A high polarization of the target is achieved using the optical pumping method. The necessary degree of 3He nuclear polarization and the spin filter size have been determined to provide the design polarization of neutrons in the energy range under study. Successful operation has been provided for the NSC KIPT dedicated computing facility for processing of data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which is the only Ukrainian Tier-2 (T2) center of the Grid infrastructure of the CMS experiment. A wide range of work on the facility upgrades has been carried out. The search has been continued for the supersymmetry (SUSY) signal – viz., the process of direct chargino pair production. Contributions of the major background processes to formation of the final-state have been estimated. Studies have been made of “mirror” reactions of multi-body photodisintegration of the oxygen nucleus.
