In the process of the third generalizing and introductory stage of the research, the purpose, tasks and priority approaches to teaching economics and economic-geographical courses at the profile level were specified; the content and operational structure of entrepreneurial competence of students are clarified; the state of teaching economics and economic-geographical courses in general secondary education institutions was monitored; the methodical bases of selection, structuring and realization of the maintenance of economy in gymnasium and lyceum are defined and theoretically substantiated; substantiated conceptual principles of creating a workshop on economics, entrepreneurship and financial literacy on the basis of the competence approach; the method of modeling identifies and develops pedagogical technology for mastering the content of economic and geographical courses at the profile level of education; developed and implemented in the educational process a method of forming entrepreneurial competence in high school and lyceum students, in the context of this prepared manuscripts of teaching aids: curricula for elective courses, workshops, manuals and experimentally tested the effectiveness of their content.
