A theoretical model of media creativity research was offered as a systematic innovative way of media education development, along with the model of informational patriotism development, the conceptual framework for creating body-oriented techniques of media education support, the moral and value based model of interaction of subjects in cyberspace and the set of creative tasks for high school students. The complex research program "Media Literacy and Information Security in a Pandemic" was substantiated. It contains two complex inventories which were implemented in computer programs (including 6 new questionnaires, e.g. "Level of COVID-19 mythologizing", "Visualization of COVID-19", "Robots / artificial intelligence in the life of a child", "Teen health and cyberspace", indicators of changes in media practices of adolescents because of distance education), as well as the new questionnaire "Social optimism in quarantine" for students, psychodiagnostic inventory "Mechanisms of parasociality", adaptation of Polish questionnaire of civic behavior of student youth. Also, the script of a psychological and pedagogical formative experiment "Social game "The Cat Race" was designed and then implemented. It's been offered an innovative diagnostic and developmental technology of representative reflection on media culture during the pandemic. All-Ukrainian mass survey was conducted which comprised students of 7-10 grades (2006 students from 64 secondary schools from all macro-regions of the country) so as the local surveys, which covered 634 people in total.
