The object of research is the psychological diagnosis of the personality of employees of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The subject of research - methods of psychological diagnosis of the personality of employees of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Research methods are selected based on certain goals and objectives, taking into account its object and subject. To solve the tasks, a set of complementary methods was used: theoretical - to clarify the theoretical foundations of the diagnostic base, empirical - to conduct diagnostic testing of a certain list (set) of methods and statistical - to process the results of experimental research, establish dependencies and differences, with taking into account the peculiarities of the national and socio-cultural levels, between the original and adapted versions of methods and conducting appropriate mathematical analysis and comparison of empirical data. The obtained results: methodical recommendations devoted to the issue of Ukrainian-language adaptation of foreign psychodiagnostic methods for use in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are prepared. The materials contain adapted Ukrainian-language versions of methods for conducting a psychological study of the personality of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and candidates for the service. The available material takes into account the organizational and legislative changes that have taken place in the process of reforming law enforcement agencies, contains recommendations that can be used by practical psychologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
