The object of the study is the region of the Middle Dnieper. The purpose of the work ‒ to create a tourist and recreational cluster as one of the areas of increasing the tourist attractiveness of the Middle Dnieper region. The analysis made it possible to formulate the main prerequisites for the formation of the tourist cluster of the Middle Dnieper, namely: the presence of a powerful natural recreational potential; Availability of tourism resources that can be used equally effectively for the formation and development of such types of tourism as ecological, sports, event and cognitive; Formed protoclusters in the region; The availability of infrastructure sufficient to carry out tourism activities; a developed network of accommodation facilities in tourist centers; the presence of various types of food enterprises that can use natural products by purchasing them from local residents; The presence of travel firms that market tourism products located in another tourist area; The dominance of road and bus transport for the delivery of tourists in the cluster, which may lead to the co-operation of enterprises to serve tourists; the ability of the Territory's regional travel agencies to attract tourists.
