It is shown that dense ceramics can be obtained by microwave sintering at lower temperatures than by the traditional method of consolidation. The study of tribotechnical properties of composites obtained by microwave sintering was carried out. The protective wearproof coatings with high mechanical characteristics were obtained on a steel substrate by the electrospark deposition method.
