They were used in crosses for creating new highly productive breeding material and we obtained about 50 hybrid combinations. The collection plot had above 1000 varieties from 29 countries in Europe, Asia and America. The most productive and drought-resistant forms were determined from the collection genotypes and our breeding material. Biochemical analysis showed the cultivars which had the largest amount of protein, oil and flavonoids in seeds, as well as the lowest amount of trypsin inhibitors. We developed some soybean breeding lines with large protein amount in seeds (42-44% in average during the last 3-5 years). Four of them are registered in the National Centre of Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine. During the 5-year period, six soybean cultivars: Aurora (2016), Pivdenna Zorya (2016), Taverna (2017), Serenada (2018), Titan (2018), Syrena (2019), Zmina (2020) were passed to the state testing. At the same time, 4 else high-yield, drought-resistant cultivars with high protein content (40-42%) and disease resistance (Orfei, Evridika, Aurora, Pivdenna Zorya) were registered in the State register of Ukraine.
