The purpose is to investigate the genesis, the leading scientific ideas and conceptual approaches to professional training aviation sector in higher educational establishments; to characterize features and tendencies of the theory and practice of cadets’ professional training of flight higher educational establishments realizing of native and foreign experience; to develop current directions for ensuring the quality of educational services in the flight schools and ways of improvement of aviation specialists training. The methods of the research are analysis and synthesis of psychological and pedagogical literature and normative documentation, classification, systematization and generalization of theoretical provisions of the problem for identification of the most perspective areas of research; observation of the educational process and theorization of pedagogical experience to clarify the difficulties of professional training of cadets of flight higher educational establishments; modeling for improvement the training of future aviation specialists; conducting diagnostic procedures - questionnaires, testing, pedagogical experiment; mathematical processing of empirical data. The results of the research: organizational and pedagogical conditions of professional important qualities for aviation specialists are defined and models for their implementation in the educational process of flight higher establishments are presented; the foreign experience of professional training for aviation specialists of the leading countries in this industry is analyzed; the ways for improvement of the of these specialists’ training are indicted; recommendations to the requirements of the ICAO are developed. The implementation of the developed methodological documentation has made it possible to improve the quality of future aviation specialists’ professional training.
