Registration Date 12-02-2021 Organization National Science Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology" popup.description2 The process of deflection of negatively charged particles in bent crystals is considered. A comparison of the maximum deflection angles at which negatively charged particles can be deflected due to the stochastic deflection mechanism and planar channeling is performed. The current trend in experimental electro (bio) physics and chemistry to improve the signal / noise characteristics of the electrodes is realized by creating arrays in which the electroactive elements (electrodes) are reduced to nanoscale. In addition, nanosized electroactive or electrocatalytic nanoparticles randomly distributed on a flat non-electroactive surface are an extremely common situation in experiments. Continuous development of technologies and relatively inexpensive production of nano-devices in the near future will force researchers working in the field of electro (bio) analytical chemistry, to resort to the use of arrays formed from nano-electrodes or nanoparticles. However, the theoretical analysis and stochastic modeling proposed at this stage have shown that the use of nanoscale implies a complete change of theoretical paradigms. Indeed, based on Brownian motion modeling, we found that with electrode sizes less than a few tens of nanometers, stochastic effects dramatically change the content of kinetic and thermodynamic measurements compared to those based on classical electrochemical models.
