The goal of the work was creation of a new generation of the multifunctional single crystalline, composite and nanostructured materials based on metals, wide bandgap semiconductors and dielectrics, including ferroics and multiferroics, and optimization of the properties of already known materials in order to expand the possibilities of their application in the various fields of functional electronics. The subject of the study was the influence of dimensional effects, external fields, phenomena on the interfaces and peculiarities of structure on the technological parameters, electrophysical, plasmonic, optical-spectral and nonlinear optical properties of the studied materials of different dimensionality. To achieve this goal, the physical and technological conditions for obtaining of these systems of different dimensionality based on the ferroics, oxide semiconductors, and nonlinear optical materials have been developed. The single crystals of ferroics with an organic cation were grown, the fractal structures of silver nanoparticles on the basic surfaces of the layered crystals were obtained. The composite materials and corresponding models of nonlinear optical frequency converters of laser radiation and schemes of ferroics application in the piezoelectric transducers and scintillation materials for cryogenic sensors of nuclear particles were proposed.
