Tairov Institute of Viticulture and Wine-making" popup.description2 The results of monitoring the complex of sucking pests on vineyards of the Northern Black Sea area were presented, ecologically safe protection system of vineyards from sucking pests, based on the use of environmentally friendly products taking into account the relationships in the entomocomplex and predatory biota were theoretically substantiated and experimentally proven. The sucking pests population increasing and a tendency of accumulation in ampelocenoses under the changing climatic conditions were established. The degree of distribution and development of dominant species of sucking pests, which inhabited 65-80% of plants with a lesion intensity of 5-25% (1-2 points), was studied. The database of ecologically safe products has been supplemented, regulations for their use have been established and an improved system of protection of vineyards from the complex of sucking pests has been introduced. The benefit of the advanced protection system is local treatment of plantings and high efficiency of action. The first treatment is carried out in the phase of 2-3 leaves (I decade of May) during the mass release of sucking pests from wintering grounds using insecticide Vertimek (abamectin, 18g/l) in a tank solution with the fungicide Tiovit Jet with a consumption rate of 6.0kg/ha, the second treatment - during the period of mass development of sucking pests - after flowering (I decade of June) with the use of systemic insecticide of the fifth generation nicotinoid group with instant action on pests Dantop VG (clothianidin, 500g/kg). The ecological system effectively restrains the development of sucking pests during the whole growing season by 97.5%, which is 32% more effective than traditional protection, reducing the pesticide load on agroecosystems, which helps to restore the natural self-regulation of sucking pest populations. Yield compared to the standard increases by 22.1%, mass concentration of sugars in berry juice - by 19.1%, profitability - by 32.3%.
