The object of research: Natural and anthropogenic ecosystems, their state, and changes under the anthropological influence. The purpose of this scientific work is the theoretical substantiation and development of methodical/applied recommendations for the improvement of a safety mechanism for ecosystems existing under sustainable development conditions. In the process of research work on the topic "Development of a safety mechanism for ecosystems existing under sustainable development conditions," several theoretical and empirical approaches were used, in particular: systematic and integrated methods; factor analysis; statistical, economic, graphic models, biomonitoring methods including bioindication and bio-testing, direct observation and experiment, methods of the unstructured, semistructured, and structured interviews and questionnaires. One of the main achievements in studying environmental safety for various ecosystems under sustainable development is the direct application for teaching. Teachers' scientific achievements are used in the teaching practice by adding those to the various subjects. They also have a great value in practical classes and laboratories, for the organization of teachers'/students' research projects, during the internship of students in various institutions and organizations, leading to the successful, high-quality qualifying/diploma projects.
