According to item 1 "Improvement of the legislation of Ukraine in the field of education" of the Program of joint activity of MES and NAPS of Ukraine for 2017-2020 by scientists of department of andragogy of IPOD of Ivan Zyazyun NAPS of Ukraine in cooperation with Public association "Ukrainian association of adult education" An updated draft law of Ukraine "On Adult Education" was substantiated, developed and sent to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The law establishes the basic legal, organizational, financial principles of adult education in Ukraine, creating conditions for effective cooperation of public authorities, civil society institutions, educational institutions, employers and other stakeholders to ensure the right of adults to lifelong learning, personal development, civic and professional competencies of a person in accordance with his individual needs, the needs of society, economy and state.
