The purpose of the work is to study the stability of reproduction and storage of units of measurement by the state primary standards during their maintenance and operation, to ensure the unity of measurements in the state. Ensuring traceability of units of measurement, which are reproduced and stored by the state primary standards, to the measuring equipment used in Ukraine. Research method - research of metrological characteristics of state primary standards and measuring instruments that are part of state primary standards, calibration of measuring instruments that are part of state primary standards, maintenance of state primary standards in accordance with the rules of storage and use, control and maintenance necessary conditions for their maintenance and operation, updating of documents to state primary standards. The result of the work is the stable reproduction and storage of units of measurement by the state primary standards located in the National Research Center "Institute of Metrology" (hereinafter - NSC "Institute of Metrology"), with metrological characteristics in accordance with current regulations. The results of the work are used during the transfer of the size of units of measurement to the existing measuring equipment of state enterprises, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine and standards of metrological services of enterprises and organizations. Scope - the national metrological service. Predictive assumptions about the development of the object of study - every year new state primary standards are created and existing ones are improved. It is necessary to ensure stable reproduction and storage of units of measurement by these standards, so the research should be continued next year.
