A method of anodic oxidation of CNTs has been developed, which allows controlled oxidation of the CNT surface, obtaining carbon material of different oxidation states depending on the amount of applied electricity. Methods for the synthesis of multilayer nitrogen-containing CNTs by the method of catalytic deposition from the gas phase (CCVD) on complex oxide catalysts (Al3FeMo0.21) have been developed.
