Registration Date 13-02-2021 Organization Chuiko Institute of Surface Chemistry of NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  Methods for the synthesis of magneto-plasmon nanocomposites (MPNAs) of Fe3O4 / Au based on magnetite and gold with a core-satellite structure using tryptophan have been developed. It is shown that the magnet-induced formation of MPNC aggregates leads to an increase in optical absorption in the near-infrared spectral range (800-1000 nm), which is a reversible process under the action of an applied magnetic field. It is established that the photochemical method of obtaining Fe3O4 / Au MPNA, in comparison with the chemical one, promotes an increase in the magnitude of reversible optical changes in the near-infrared region. The photothermal effect of MPNC has been demonstrated in vitro, which manifests itself as damage to cell integrity due to the formation of "microbubbles" at the sites of MPNC due to irradiation. Developed magnetically controlled Fe3O4 / Au MPNAs as a means of photothermal therapy activated by IR irradiation have been proposed.
