Research methods - mathematical modeling, physical experiment with registration of transient processes, X-ray analysis and electron microscopy. Methods of ensuring the efficiency of electrophysical processes of a hybrid electric discharge method for the synthesis of nanostructured metal-carbon coatings with onion-like nanocarbon are substantiated. The possibility of intensification of the formation of refractory metal carbides (Ti, W) due to the increase in the share of energy introduced into the conductor before the explosion was experimentally confirmed. New functional dependences for calculation parameters and characteristics of hybrid type electrical equipment are obtained. The problem of process optimization in electric circuits of electric discharge equipment of hybrid type with coordination of weakly connected partial processes optimized independently of each other is solved. The hybrid type intelligent control system, which based on fuzzy controllers, for powerful high-voltage electrical equipment for the hybrid method of synthesis of composite coatings has been developed.
