The purpose of the study is to substantiate the feasibility of using membrane and photocatalytic processes of water purification, CO2 disinfection and utilization of industrial waste, taking into account the degree of anthropogenic pressure and environmental safety of water systems and the impact of heliophysical factors. Research methods - statistical analysis; assessment of quantitative and qualitative parameters of functioning of hydroecosystems; photochemical catalysis, microfiltration; use of Escherichia Coli culture; rheological measurements. A statistical analysis of the dependence of the water quality of the surface sources of Ukraine on heliophysical factors for a 70-year period was done. The interaction of the factors that determine the indicators of the content of organic water pollution, the development of phyto- and zooplankton with the Wolf numbers has been established. The level of ecological safety of hydroecosystems of the Ros river basin as sources of drinking water supply is determined. For the first time, the effectiveness of low-pressure CO2 for disinfection of Escherichia coli and water preservation at (14-42) oC was evaluated. Regularities of photochemical and photocatalytic destruction of organic substances of different nature are established. The efficiency of using microfiltration tubular membranes from clay minerals of lignocellulose for wastewater treatment is shown. The possibility of obtaining coal-based slurry fuel using polluted wastewater has been confirmed. Technological bases and modes of utilization of spent activated carbon by creation of effective organo-mineral fertilizers are substantiated. Application: water supply and water treatment.
