The purpose of the study is to develop a theoretical and methodological justification for the formation of a global industry of precious metals and precious stones and strategic directions of integration into this industry of national economies, including Ukraine. The object of research is the processes of formation of the global industry of precious metals and precious stones. The subject of the study is the theoretical and methodological and applied principles of integration of national economies into the global industry of precious metals and precious stones. To achieve the goal and solve the outlined problems, general scientific and special research methods were used, which ensured the objectivity and reliability of the main provisions of the dissertation and formulated conclusions: method of system analysis, theoretical generalization and scientific abstraction, induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, comparative analysis, methods of descriptive statistics and visual analysis, econometric modeling. The novelty of the obtained results is the development of theoretical and methodological and applied approaches to the formation of a global industry of precious metals and precious stones and substantiation of conceptual provisions for strategic directions of integration of national economies, including Ukraine, in this industry.
