The model explains the mechanism of electron tunneling through the molecule attached to electrodes by different anchoring groups. The model of a molecular photodiode which converts the energy of tunneling electrons into the energy of light quanta has been developed. Based on the model, the kinetic mechanism is proposed that is responsible for the formation of unipolar and bipolar electrofluorescence. The important role of the nonlinear effects of the substrate-conformational interaction in enzymatic catalysis was revealed and it is shown how the formation and change of the modes of enzyme functioning occurs according to the scenario of nonequilibrium phase transitions. A description of the enzymatic reaction with two conformational channels is given and it is shown that the appearance of an optimal mode of enzyme functioning has the character of a 2nd-order phase transition. The theory of absorption of the energy of the magnetic component of an ultrashort laser pulse by metal nanoparticles is developed, and the dependence of this energy on the orientation of the magnetic field is found. A method is proposed for revealing weak oscillations in the frequency dependence of the conductivity of metal nanoparticles. The mechanism of electron tunneling through a barrier in binary InAs/GaAs quantum structures with a quantum wire and dot is revealed. It was found that the ordering of impurity atoms leads to the appearance of a gap in the energy spectrum of electrons. The theoretical calculations are in good agreement with optical experiments. The kinetic characteristics of the population of the states of the linear system are simulated in a wide range of control parameters and the points of stochastic resonance are found. In accordance with the experiment, it was found that the calcium current peaks exhibit hysteresis properties and obey a bimodal distribution.
