The object of research is fire extinguishing of fires of classes D and A, B in the presence of light metal compounds with a special-purpose fire extinguishing powder and foam obtained from a foam concentrate of increased stability. The purpose of the work is to improve the technology for extinguishing fires of classes D and A, B in the presence of magnesium and aluminum compounds, by supplying special-purpose fire extinguishing powder and foams with increased resistance. Research methods: method of processing statistical data; methods of mathematical modeling; physicochemical methods - thermodynamic. The problems of extinguishing fires of class D and A, B, as well as the peculiarities of their elimination by supplying fire-extinguishing powders for special purposes and foam obtained from foaming agents of increased stability, are stated. An experimental installation for combined extinguishing was designed. Experimental studies have been carried out to determine the fire extinguishing efficiency of a special-purpose fire extinguishing powder and foam concentrates of increased stability in the "combined" extinguishing of class D and A, B fires.
