The aim of the work is to develop a theoretical substantiation of selection and evaluation of drought and heat resistance of self-pollinated maize lines using modern developments in genetics, biotechnology, physiology and the latest breeding methods, and on this basis to create highly productive hybrids (FAO 300-500) with high adaptive bioavailability, and economic indicators with grain yields 3-5 % higher than standards and humidity 1,2-2,3 % lower. Research methods - diallel and test-crossbreeding, standard method of creating self-pollinated lines, combined method of creating self-pollinated lines, reciprocal periodic selection. Research results - selection work on creation of own initial material with a complex of valuable economic signs proceeded. In the nurseries studied more than 35,000 test-hybrids (FAO 300-500).We submitted 11 hybrids of maize for state variety testing. Product Description popup.authors Abelmasov Oleksii V. Bebeh Alina V.
