In 50% of cases, antibodies to each of these pathogens were detected. Molecular typing of the field and manufactural strains was performed, as a result of which it was established that epizootic strains of C. fetus by amplification of aspA and glnA genes were assigned to the subtype venerealis. Yersinia strains belong to the species Y. enterocolitica. Strain serotype O: 9 contains the gene ail, which indicates its virulence. All studied strains do not contain plasmid pYV-PL, which is likely to be associated with long passages at temperatures below 30 C0. In order to create DNA reference standards, phenotypically typical strains of C. fetus subsp. fetus LBF (C. f. f. LBF) and C. fetus subsp. venerealis LBV (C. f. v. LBV), as well as the production strain Y. enterocolitica serotype O: 9, which were used to obtain bacterial mass and extraction of nucleic acids by boiling and using a commercial kit.
