The aim of the work is to study the structural and functional properties of derivatives of the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, ovaries, testes in the form of cells or tissue fragments under conditions of 2-D (monolayer) and 3-D (cytosphere) cultivation, cryopreservation, hypothermic storage and transplantation into animals with models of induction donor-specific tolerance or hormonal deficiency of the endocrine glands. Research methods are 2-D and 3-D cultivation, cryopreservation, hypothermic storage, modeling of hormonal insufficiency of endocrine glands, transplantation, supravital cell staining, determination of T4 level by RIA, estradiol and progesterone by chemiluminescent ELISA, testosterone by competitive ELISA, histochemistry using specific antibodies, light and fluorescence microscopy, histological and morphometric analysis, study of the sexual behavior of animals, statistical processing of the results. It was found that cryopreserved 2-D and 3-D cultures of cells of the thyroid and adrenal glands of neonatal piglets have a high hormonal and proliferative potential during cultivation; cryopreserved cells and tissue fragments of rat ovaries and testes have a normalizing effect on the level of sex hormones and sexual behavior after allotransplantation into recipients with models of hormonal deficiency. Further implementation of the results of this work in the field of biology, endocrinology, transplantology and veterinary medicine is possible on the basis of obtaining biologically active substances and cells from cryopreserved cultures and fragments of tissues of endocrine glands.
