The incidence of bream Abramis brama and crucian carp Carassius from the Danube by metacercariae Metagonimus yokogawai was 6.7% and 7.5%, respectively, which allowed them to be classified as group I - low extent of infection (up to 10% infection with metacercariae). Scardinius erythrophthalmus and Rutilus heckelii were affected by Metagonimus yokogawai with an extent of 18.2% and 20.0%, which allowed them to be classified as group II - the average extent of infection (from 10 to 25% of metacercariae). Metagonimosis in fish from the Dniester Delta was recorded in 4.5% Abramis brama and 7.0% Carassius - group I low extent of infection, 21.6% Rutilus heckelii - group II of medium extent of infection and 28.1% Scardinius erythrophthalmus - group III high extensiveness of infection.
