The paper presents the results of monitoring of natural complexes and processes on the territory Nature Reserve of Luhansk of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2016-2020. The cartographic material is presented and the territorial structure of the reserve is described, the analysis of hydrological and meteorological observations for five years is presented. Generalized data on vascular plants of the Tryohizbensky steppe compartment (updated list contains 495 species), lichen biota (166 species) and mycobiota of the reserve (731 species) are provided. The list of vascular plants of the Striltsivsky steppe consists of 700 species, for the period 2000-2020 it was supplemented by 143 species. The total number of alien species in the flora of the compartment is 107 species. The dynamics of change of plant communities according to the data of 5-year observations on permanent fixed plots in the Striltsivsky Steppe compartment is presented. The list of insects of the reserve was replenished with 518 new species. Information on the current state of the vertebrate fauna of the Striltsivsky Steppe, Tryokhizbensky Steppe compartments and the environs of the Stanychno-Luhanske compartment is provided. 151 species of terrestrial vertebrates were registered on the territory of the Striltsivsky Steppe compartment and in its protection zone. The list of vertebrate of compartment is supplemented by 3 species. The data of records of nesting bird species of Striltsivsky steppe on permanent stationary routes for a 5-year period are given. The developed and implemented set of the system of the range of activities directed on preservation of a biodiversity in the conditions of a reserved mode in ecosystems of objects of NFP of Ukraine in the Luhansk region is presented. The researchers of the reserve has published 43 scientific papers according to the results of research.
