Research methods - epizootological, serological, virological, molecular genetic, bacteriological, statistical. Epizootological monitoring of economically significant infections of poultry from different regions of Ukraine caused by herpes, birch, retroviruses was carried out; monitoring of associated viral-bacterial infections of chickens in poultry farms of Ukraine and study of pathomorphological changes of organs during their course. The biological properties of epizootic isolates "A 04-12", "KDS", "B 59-11", "B 2-10", "PE 96-10" were studied. A passport for the strain of infectious laryngotracheitis virus "B 59-11" was developed (Appendix A). Based on the antigen of the ILT virus "B 59-11", the test system "Set of components for the determination of antibodies to the virus of infectious laryngotracheitis by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay" was improved. The TU "Set of components for determination of antibodies to infectious laryngotracheitis virus by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay" has been developed. The technological regulations for disinfection treatment of hatching eggs and the regulations of the ventilation system for disinfection treatment of fresh and exhaust air of the incubator have been developed and successfully tested in production conditions.
