The optimal combinations of monoclonal antibodies, their concentrations, time and conditions of incubation with cells by morphological characteristics and expression of specific surface markers were determined. The effect of transient focal ischemia and subsequent reperfusion in rats on the volume of the ischemically damaged area of the brain, the dynamics of neurological deficit and behavioral phenomena were studied. It was found that focal transient ischemia adversely affects the functional state of nerve cells in the affected area, and citicoline had a pronounced neuroprotective effect on functional state of the cells and formation of the ischemic lesion foci. The study of neurons and glial cells in the CA1 area of hippocampus in ApoE-deficient mice under conditions of consumption of low-fat and high-fat diets and prebiotic fiber containing diets was performed using immunohistochemical methods. It was found that a high-fat diet minimized the morphological manifestations of neuroinflammatory conditions: the degree of activation of astrocytes, increasing the number of microglial cells and the death of pyramidal neurons. Prebiotic products effected neuroprotectivelly on morphological changes in the hippocampus of ApoE-deficient mice. In the conditions of a rotenone model of hemiparkinsonism in rats, the assessment of short-term dynamics of rotenone-dependent changes in mitochondria was performed at the level of individual cells. Mitochondrial dysfunction has been shown to be a significant factor of degenerative changes caused by rotenone in neurons of substantia nigra Product Description popup.authors Kovalenko Tetyana М.
