Purpose and objectives - to establish peculiarities of plant growth and development, of photosynthetic and symbiotic apparatuses, of dry matter accumulation dynamics, and of yield capacities and qualities of major field crops, depending on the studied techniques; to evaluate indicators of individual plant performance, yield capacity and quality; and to determine the economic and energy efficiency of the studied variants of cultivation technologies. The diploma thesis is a part of the thematic plan of research at the Chair of Plant Breeding of Kharkiv National Agrarian University named after VV Dokuchaev for 2016–2020 within the scientific-technical program “Formation of Highly Productive Crops of Cereals, Legumes, Technical and Bioenergy Plants, Fodder Grasses and Medicinal Plants” (state registration No 0117U004238)/ Methods - field methods to determine the plant growth and development and yield; visual assessments for phenological observations; laboratory methods to determine grain quality indices; measuring and weighing to assess the plant height, leaf surface area, photosynthetic parameters, dry matter, plant structure; calculation and comparison to assess the economic and energy efficiency of technological approaches to soybean cultivation; mathematical and statistical to assess the significance of the results.
