Object and subject of research. The object of research in this work is the process of analyzing the severity of thermal burns based on the use a system of analysis of biomedical information, which provides increased reliability of the results. The subject of the study is the characteristics of biomedical images the area of thermal burns and the system for their analysis. Research results. Most methods for determining the size and degree of burns are time consuming and time consuming to analyze. The main disadvantage of existing methods – they are all contact methods for determining the area and degree of damage. Therefore, the development of a contactless system for determining the area and degree of burns with the selection in the image of the desired information using automatic or semi-automatic devices and systems is an urgent task. The result of the analysis of this type of image should be a picture with its numerical description on certain grounds. The analysis of literature sources shows the prospects of research in this area with the development of models for the description and method of processing biomedical data. The object under study is presented in the form of a complex multilayer structure. Inside and on the surface of each layer of the structure are heat sources in the form of blood vessels. The thermal regime of such a structure is described using a generalized thermal model, which is based on heat transfer processes. The main requirement for the model of the heat transfer process in the object of research is the numerical solution of the problem of heat field distribution. To build the model, assumptions are made: the object under study is a parallelepiped consisting of N layers, heat sources are located on the surface of each layer. The number of layers determines the accuracy of the description of the temperature distribution.
