To reveal the essence and main tendencies of the process of feminization of law enforcement agencies, the results of sociological research characterize the features and contradictions of women's professional activity in law enforcement agencies and the state of gender stereotypes and guidelines of law enforcement officers of men and women. The world experience of involving women in the service of law enforcement agencies is described and recommendations for overcoming the manifestations of sexism towards women in uniform are developed. The expected socio-economic effect from the implementation of the research results will allow to develop a legal act on the mechanism of response to cases of discrimination on the grounds of sex; to work out measures for timely adjustment of gender guidelines in the subjects of military-professional activity, which will allow optimizing the relations in heterosexual groups of law enforcement agencies; develop approaches for the leadership of law enforcement agencies and heterosexual teams of law enforcement agencies to improve the management of these teams.
