According to the indices of assessment of breeding value of males (reproductive qualities of daughters) - the highest values ​​of BLUP index were characteristic for 1727215 (+0.140), 2118127 (+0.087) and 1514156 (+0.045). It is established that the use of the BLUP method allows to increase the live weight of young rabbits of the breed Poltava silver by 30-60 g and reduces feed costs by 13%. In industrial rabbit breeding, index data should be used to select breeding males for breeding use. According to the results of the research, an analytical database of indicators of reproductive and productive qualities of rabbits, methodical recommendations on methodological bases of increase of indicators of productivity of rabbits taking into account paratypic factors are formed.
