The purpose of the work is to analyze the formation and formation of waste-free technologies in the open method of mineral development, to determine the main directions of development of such technologies in order to reduce the man-made load on mining regions. Research methods - generalization of scientific data, technical-economic, mining-geometric and statistical analyzes, cartographic research methods, methods of mathematical analysis and modeling. The previously obtained results are analyzed and new directions for the creation and application of waste-free and environmentally friendly technologies of open field development are substantiated; the influence of formation of disturbed and technogenic massifs on landslide processes and flooding of territories is established; the peculiarities of destruction of rocks of different strength and processes of gas evolution by charges of various explosives are analyzed.
