Purpose: to provide new opportunities for Ukrderzharkhiv, in particular special institutions of the SFD of Ukraine and storage bases of the SFD of Ukraine, to store and restore information that at present could not be stored on black and white film using current microfilming technologies of the SFD; - improvement of the current technologies of microfilming of the SFD in terms of preparation of digital images of documents submitted for microfilming in electronic form; - improving the quality of microfilming by reducing the impact of subjective evaluation on the results of microfilming and monitoring the state of SFF microfilms. Research method - theoretical analysis of properties of raster halftone images of electronic copies of documents, digital image processing, determination of image features, wavelet analysis, experimental studies on practical examples of raster halftone images of electronic copies of documents, classification based on fuzzy systems theory.
