The influence of environmental parameters on the thermophysical and operational characteristics of the welded joints will be studied by methods of complex mechanical, thermal and thermomechanical analysis. At the first stage of the work the analysis of literature data on features of welding of polymers in abnormal conditions of environment and features of application of technologies of welding and surfacing of polymeric materials is carried out. Experiments on welding of polymer pipes with contaminated joint surfaces have been performed, which is relevant in the construction of pipelines in remote areas with difficult climates. Experiments on ultrasonic welding of polymer packaging films in the presence of water corresponding to the conditions on board fishing vessels on the high seas were performed. The strength and structural properties of experimental welds have been studied. A complete set of design documentation for an experimental vacuum-gas chamber for modeling the action of anomalous external factors has been developed. All its components have been manufactured, assembly and commissioning works of the chamber have been carried out. The experimental chamber with a volume of 0.5 m3 allows welding of polymeric materials in model gas environments and in the conditions of technical vacuum.
