Actuality of theme According to the Law of Ukraine "On Veterinary Medicine" (Law - № 2498-XII), veterinary drugs are products controlled by the veterinary service, the control of which is defined by Article 17 of this Law. However, in EU countries, the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 1998 № 98/79 / EEC on in vitro diagnostic medical devices is used for the control of diagnostic devices. According to that Directive, in vitro diagnostic products must be designed and manufactured in such a way that, when used as intended, they do not, directly or indirectly, pose a risk to the clinical condition or safety of consumers, the safety or health of users and persons, or property security. The risks that may result from the use of such products must be tolerable in relation to the beneficial effect on the patient and combined with a high level of health and safety protection.
