The purpose of research is to reduce fuel consumption, increase the efficiency of mineral fertilizers, protect the soil from erosion in the cultivation of row crops and replace imported machinery. Research methods - analytical, experimental. Research results. The modernized design of the unit for targeted strip tillage and local application of ASOG-8M fertilizers was developed, manufactured and tested. An experimental chisel-fertilizer PShCHN-2,5U was developed, manufactured and tested. The technological process of targeted tillage with simultaneous application of basic doses of mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of row crops has been developed and tested. These developments are recommended for implementation in production. Economic advantages of the technology of targeted tillage and fertilizer application over traditional technology - reduction of energy consumption and labor costs by 20-25%, savings of fertilizers up to 30%, moisture conservation, protection of soils from erosion.
