The results of the reconnaissance monitoring provided grounds to classify the objects of garden and park economy as anthropically changed landscape ecosystems, the structure and formation of which are completely determined by the activity of Man (Society). Anthropogenic (anthropic) landscapes include cultural landscapes. We consider garden landscapes to be one of the few anthropic ecosystems that are almost adequate for natural ecosystems with their biodiversity - the stabilizer of the Biosphere. Biodiversity, in particular biodiversity, together with the decorative diversity of gardens and parks, plays a crucial role in the functioning of ecosystems of any rank, providing numerous benefits to human society. The example of the city of Kharkiv shows the feasibility of using plants of the genera Salix, Pópulus, Juniperus, Sesleria in landscaping of urban areas. 23 ecologically adapted species and 5 ornamental forms of plants of the genus Acer were identified. High efficiency of preparations against pathogens of Fusarium wilt of seedlings of Pinus sylvestris L. was revealed in the vegetation house. Functional diagnostics of phytorecultants' nutrition revealed (in cooperation with the Department of Agrochemistry) to some extent the imbalance of nutrition in urban soils with nutritious macro- and microelements - this negative can be corrected only next season by adjusting the nutrient regime of plant-soil diagnostics according to plant data.
