The object of the study was the technological process of subsoil drip irrigation (SDI), the production processes of plants depending on a set of factors. The subject of the research is the water regime of the soil and the peculiarities of its formation, growth and development indicators, productivity of agricultural crops depending on the parameters of SDI technologies. The main research method is short-term field experiments, which are supplemented by laboratory, analytical research methods and methods of mathematical statistics. The parameters of soil water regime, evapotranspiration (ETc) and productivity of soybeans, corn, sunflower and chickpeas according to different schemes of laying irrigation pipelines (IP) are established. Designs of SDI systems by optimization of parameters of evapotranspiration (ETc), water regime of soil and productivity of agricultural crops are substantiated. The technical-technological and ecological-economic parameters and constructions of the systems of underground drip irrigation for growing tomato seedlings in the system of organic agriculture are substantiated. The regularities of formation are determined and the geometrical parameters of the soil moisture zone under subsoil drip irrigation are established. It is determined that the area of soybean sowing bed (upper 3-4 cm) under ground drip irrigation is not sufficiently moistened as a result of watering, which causes seedlings of field crops due to natural soil moisture. According to the parameters of irrigation water consumption, the most economical is ground drip irrigation with laying of irrigation pipelines to a depth of 25 cm. This gives grounds to recommend this method of irrigation for growing soybeans and corn in the steppe of Ukraine with severe water scarcity.
