LAYERED COMPOSITES, INTERLAYER DAMAGES, BEARING CAPACITY, RESIDUAL STRENGTH, RECOMMENDATIONS Research object – bearing capacity and residual strength of structures made of laminated composites in the presence or appearance of damage at the interfaces. Purpose – improve the mixed scheme of the finite element method for calculating the stress-strain development of recommendations based on the methodology for determining the bearing capacity and residual strength of the possibility of using shell structures made of laminated composites in the presence and / or appearance of defects on the interfaces. Research methods – finite elements method, the methods of computational mathematics, modern software development technologies. On the basis of the proposed mathematical model of deformation of laminated composite shells of revolution made by the method of winding with a discrete consideration of the structure in thickness, software was created and verified to solve the problems of determining the bearing capacity and residual strength in the presence or appearance of damage on the interface surfaces in the casings of solid fuel rocket engines of the type "cocoon". In the reporting period, recommendations were developed, including instructions for the user and for installing the software package. After installing the software package on the user's computer and launching it, the stress-strain state of the hull model is calculated and the results are visualized for interactive analysis and evaluating the operability of the case. The developed documentation and software are used in the settlement departments of the State Enterprise “Design Office “Yuzhnoye” when designing elements of rocket and space technology to assess the possibility of their operation in the presence of interlayer damage, which may be the result of technological and operational factors.
