Podgorny Institute of Mechanical Engineering Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The models have been created for a wide class of three-dimensional nanocomposites, which adequately reflect the elastic properties of structures and are suitable for efficient numerical modelling. The obtained models provide efficient prediction of mechanical properties of three-dimensional matrix nanocomposites for the full range of structure parameters. The new models have been developed for estimating the effective modulus of nanocomposites elasticity using representative bulk elements with different mechanical and geometric characteristics. The optimized 3D packaging models are proposed for the modelling of the numerical nanoinclusions interaction in composite materials. The new approach is proposed for the analysis of the static stability loss of composite thin-walled structures made of functional-gradient composites reinforced with carbon nanotubes. The new design of cylindrical shells of fuel tanks of launch vehicles has been proposed. Such tanks can be made of composite materials, which will significantly reduce weight, simplify the geometry and manufacturing technology. The advantage of the proposed design is the possibility of its operation with minor plastic deformations of the material. The main properties of smooth systems of R-operations and R-operations, which retain normalization, are investigated to improve the method of constructing the equations of the elements of aerospace technology using the R-functions method. It is shown that for smooth R-operations the property of normalization cannot be fulfilled in full. The approach to construction of new constructive means of the R-functions theory is offered. The methods for creating mathematical and computer models of three-dimensional geometric objects based on the R-functions theory are formulated. Algorithms for step-by-step construction of mathematical models of objects of complex cross-section, three-dimensional equations of surfaces are developed.
