The set of tasks that lead to the goal comprise: systematization of the information about Lesya Ukrainka’s famous contemporaries who are associated with the ideological, aesthetic, and literary formation of her personality; thoughtful identification of those who deserve in-depth study owing to their disposition to Lesya Ukrainka; study of the relationships between Lesya Ukrainka and the writers, her contemporaries; substantiation of the philosophical, culture-philosophical, literary-theoretical, and other influential concepts of the turn of the century from the standpoint of their projection on the worldview and aesthetic pursuits of Lesya Ukrainka. In the focus of the study is the historical and biographical context of the formation and development of Lesya Ukrainka's personality, the role of the family in the literary and creative search of Lesya Ukrainka, and the role and significance of the writer's predecessors in the formation of her worldview and aesthetics. Socio-political, historical-philosophical, religious, aesthetic ideas and views of Lesya Ukrainka are projected on the context of the epoch and allow reproducing the integrity of the author's picture of the world in its most prominent socio-cultural and artistic self-revealing features. The key findings of the study, generalized in terms of modern methodologies, provide the basis for the conceptual interpretation of Lesya Ukrainka's influences on her contemporaries and her contemporaries' impact on her world view and creativity. They contribute to a better understanding of the scientific-critical perception of the poet's work in the papers of literary critics of her time and in the 1920s-1930s. The research stage of Lesya Ukrainka's creativity, conducted by scholars from the diaspora, is highlighted for the first time.
