At the first stage, a detailed study of the central part of the Golovanivsk Suture Zone (CPGSZ) of the Bug mining area and its prospects for finding and exploration of mineral deposits on the basis of the renewed concept of the geological structure of the region has been performed. A structural-petrophysical and tectonophysical basis of a scale of 1: 100 000 of structural and geological map, which was much more detailed than the existing geological maps, was compiled to perform a task. In the second stage, the internal structure of Talnivka, Pervomay and Emylovka zones of faults and structure of the upper part of the Earth's crust of the Yatran block of DSZ perspective on diamonds were studied in detail; on the base of the seismic gravitational data a deep structure of the CPDSZ has been modulated. In the third stage, a 3D density model of the CPDSZ has been constructed, the materials of the GSZ on IV and VI geotraverses within the limits of the Bug mining area (BMA) has been reinterpreted. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the digital map of the Geomagnetic field of the Golovanivsk suture zone was performed in order to assess the magnetization of various layers of the earth's crust, finding out the structural features of their structure and geodynamic conditions for the formation of sources of long, medium and short-wave anomalies. At the final stages, the results of theoretical and experimental works were obtained, which were focused on the study of the local structures of the Golovanivsk suture zone and the Gaivoron-Zavalliv ore region, which enabled to build a Structural-tectonophysical basis of the geological map of the entire BMA of scale of 1: 100 000.
