The purpose of the work is to scientific substantiate and improve existing theoretical approaches to assessing the impact of electromagnetic and acoustic pollution on the environment, justifying measures aimed at improving the environment and preventing diseases. Research methods: analytical, mathematical, physical (measurement of levels of electromagnetic, acoustic radiation, ultraviolet radiation), sanitary and hygienic (survey of territories adjacent to the airports of civil aviation "Kyiv" and "Boryspil"). Results of work: for the first time in Ukraine, sanitary and hygienic characteristics of conditions for the placement and operation of radio equipment as sources of electromagnetic contamination of the territory of international airports of civil aviation "Kyiv" and "Boryspil" and adjacent territories are given; technical data on acoustic (noise) contamination of residential areas adjacent to the airport created by air transport (aircraft); the regularities of territorial spatial distribution of electromagnetic and acoustic contamination of the territories adjacent to the airports of civil aviation "Kyiv" and "Boryspil" were established; an approach adapted to European standards has been developed to solve the problems of reducing acoustic contamination of the territories adjacent to civil aviation airports; methodological basis for the study of the joint action of electromagnetic and acoustic radiation has been developed.
